Private Training Sessions
Fees are $150 per hour. Expect our first consult to run approximately 1.5 hours.
Private Packages start at 10 30-minute lessons after the initial consult. The total cost of 10 30-minute lessons is $750. Private Package fees are due in full before the first session. All purchased sessions in a package must be used within six (6) months from the date of purchase. All unused sessions at the end of six (6) months will be forfeit.
All Smart Pets Training is based in northern Minnesota, and thus primarily serves most of Norman and Clay counties in MN, and Cass County in ND. Occasionally, in-person training may be warranted or desired. If so, it may be possible and will be discussed during the initial planning and goal-setting consult. Travel costs (round trip) will be added to the package cost.

All Smart Pets Training expressly disclaim all warranties of any kind, express, implied, statutory or otherwise, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement, with regard to the service. All Smart Pets Training will not provide any medical or veterinary advice, and may request that you consult your veterinarian as part of your training package. In those cases, All Smart Pets also requires permission to contact your veterinarian regarding recommendations concerning training.
You must be 18 years of age or older to purchase services, or provide written permission from a legal guardian.
If you need to reschedule a session, please provide notice at least 48 hours before the scheduled time.
Less than than 24 hours notice to reschedule a session, or a “no-call-no-show,” will be billed for the full session rate. If you’ve purchased one of the Private Packages, the missed session will be counted as one of your package sessions.
In general, no refunds will be given for Private Training fees (virtual or in person). In the unfortunate event of your dog’s death or a separation of ownership, remaining sessions in a Private Package will be refunded up to a maximum of 50% of the Package price. All requests for refunds or credits may take up to 30 days to process.
Private training fees are not transferable to group classes, and vice versa.
In some cases, you may be asked to participate in video production. Only your dog (not you) will appear on camera, unless special arrangements have been made ahead of time. This is at your discretion, of course, and will not affect the length or quality of the training you receive. Please refer to the “Photo and Video” section below for more details.
Agreement to Hold Harmless and Assumption of Risk
When you sign up for Private Training or video consultations (via telephone, Skype, Zoom, or Face-Time), understand that All Smart Pets Training (the Consultant) will work directly with you and your pet to impart contemporary animal behavior knowledge that best fits your needs, and that successful companion pet programs depend on a combination of learned skills on the part of both the pet and the owner. Behavior is not static; an animal will not continue to perform even trained behaviors without ongoing practice. Especially in cases involving any type of aggression, although behavior may be modified, the dog is never considered “cured.” A pet’s behavior is ultimately the responsibility of the owner. The Consultant will make every reasonable effort to help you attain goals but makes no guarantee of performance on the part of yourself or your pet(s) as a result of providing professional behavior consultation. You acknowledge that obedience training/ behavior modification may be an activity in which damage or injury to dog(s) and/or persons may occur. You will assume full financial/moral responsibility for the actions of your dog(s). You further acknowledges that dog(s) may be exposed to a variety of environmental conditions which include, but are not limited to, vehicular travel, interaction with people and other animals, exposure to adverse weather, and exposure to areas with crowds and all types of traffic. You agree that you, your heirs, assignees, and legal representatives will not make claim against, sue, or attach the property of the Consultant, members, managers, employees, acquaintances, or any other person acting on behalf of All Smart Pets Training (herein referred to as “Our Agents”) for injury or damage done to or by dog(s) resulting from action or negligence, however caused, by the Consultant or Our Agents. You forever release the Consultant and/or Our Agents from any and all liability and demands which you and your heirs, assignees, and legal representatives may have or may hereafter have for injury or damage to or by dog(s), and assume all risks thereof. Your Contract for Training Services supersedes all other agreements, written or oral, previously made between the Consultant and yourself.
Purchasing training online and checking the “Terms & Conditions” box is effectively your signature that both parties shall evidence acceptance of these terms.
Discounts, Coupons, and Bundling
At this time, competitor’s coupons for training services cannot be accepted; only discounts offered by All Smart Pets Training shall be accepted. Unless otherwise specified, all coupons have no cash value. Coupons and their face value cannot be exchanged for cash or gift cards.
“Packages” are groups of training sessions (private or video) that are booked and paid for at once. Packages can include any combination of training: private sessions or video consultations.
Packages are priced on a declining scale: the more training offerings you choose to bundle together, the more savings you will receive. Packages of more than ten services will receive special consideration. Coupons are factored in before package discounts are deducted.
All fees are due in full before the first training session. All purchased trainings in a bundle must be used within six (6) months from the date of purchase. All unused sessions at the end of six (6) months will be forfeit.
Packages, and their inherent discounts, cannot be applied retroactively. For example, if you book a singular private training session, and then decide to book a package at a later date, you cannot get a prorated package price that includes the initial session. Packaged sessions must be purchased at the same time.
Unused sessions in a package are not transferrable to other training services or individuals.
Discounts, coupons, and packages may be used together unless otherwise stated. Individual coupons may have policy statements that supersede previous pricing structures. Discounts and coupons will be processed before packaged prices will be determined.
