Trick Dog class – Novice/intermediate
Beginning Sat July 27 at 11am. Cost $150
We’ll be working on several new tricks each class, and learning foundation skills you can use for even more tricks. If you are interested in earning trick dog titles through the AKC, Stevie is an evaluator, and can check off tricks as you and your dog learn them. She’s also able to help you if you’re working within other trick dog organizations (Do More With Your Dog, for example).

FIT DOG Level 1 Class
Beginning Wed July 10 at 10am, for 6 weeks. Cost $150.

Learn more about proper form, balance, and control as you help your dog get fit. This class will give you points toward your dog’s AKC Fit Dog titles. You don’t have to have a purebred dog to participate – all are welcome.
Dogs should have some basic obedience skills and be comfortable with handling. They should be healthy and with no significant injuries or ongoing conditions. If in doubt, the instructor may require veterinary clearance to participate.
- You’ll need:
- Internet access and your phone, tablet, or computer
- Treats your dog likes
- Room to move
- A stable platform large enough for your dog to stand comfortably with all four paws,
- and easy for your dog to jump onto or off
- 6 poles such as dowels or 1” PVC pipe about 3 feet long, and a way to stabilize them (plastic cones with holes to insert the poles, crushed pop cans, or rolled towels)
- A pedestal such as an upside down rubber feed bowl (nest 2 together for more stability)
- Optional: a balance pad (a foam pad or sofa cushion to add challenge)
